Conservation Biology | Fisheries Management | Theoretical Ecology

The Takashina Lab at the University of Tokyo is led by Associate Professor Nao Takashina and conducts research in theoretical ecology, conservation biology, and fisheries management from an interdisciplinary perspective. Currently, we are trying to understand effective ways to establish protected areas and sustainable management of fishery resources. We also conduct theoretical ecology studies, such as studies the ecological and evolutionary mechanisms involved in the formation and maintenance of biodiversity, as well as population dynamics. 高科研究室は，東京大学 大学院新領域創成科学研究科 国際協力学専攻に所属する，生態系保全管理・保全生物学の研究室です。特に，保護区やOECM，人間活動と生物多様性保全の調和，持続可能な生物資源管理の制度設計，共同・コミュニティ管理などが当研究室の中心的な研究キーワードです。現在研究室では，学振ポスドク，博士課程（学内外のフェローシップ制度あり），修士課程の学生を募集しています。新領域創成科学研究科は学部を持たない大学院で，学際的かつ国際的な研究環境のもとで幅広い研究テーマに取り組める点が魅力です。進学に関する詳細についてはこちらをご覧ください。
