Ecosystem conservation and management

The Takashina Lab at the University of Tokyo is led by Associate Professor Nao Takashina and conducts research in theoretical ecology, conservation biology, and fisheries management from an interdisciplinary perspective. Currently, we are trying to understand effective ways to establish protected areas and sustainable management of fishery resources. We also conduct theoretical ecology studies, such as studies the ecological and evolutionary mechanisms involved in the formation and maintenance of biodiversity, as well as population dynamics. 当研究室は東京大学大学院新領域創成科学研究科に属し，人間活動と生態系保全・管理の両立という観点から，保全生物学や水産資源管理に関する研究を行っています。また個体群動態やマクロ生態学に関する理論生態学研究にも取り組んでいます。現在研究室では，学振ポスドク，博士課程（学内外のフェローシップ制度あり），修士課程の学生を歓迎しています。詳細はこちらをご覧ください。
