Ecosystem Conservation and Management

Welcome to the Takashina Lab at the University of Tokyo. We conduct quantitative research on various social-ecological systems with the aim of understanding methods for balancing ecosystem management/conservation and human activities from an interdisciplinary perspective. Currently, we are trying to understand effective ways to establish protected areas and sustainable management of fishery resources. We also conduct theoretical/macro/population ecology studies. 当研究室は東京大学大学院国際協力学専攻に属し，生態学を中心とする学際的視点から人間活動と生態系保全・管理を両立させる方法論を確立するため，多様な社会生態システムの研究を行っています。特に保護区の効果的導入手法，持続的水産資源管理，生態学（理論・マクロ・個体群・保全など）の研究などに取り組んでいます。進学などに関してはこちらをご覧ください。
