Prospective Postdocs

We are accepting applications for the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow (deadlines are spring and fall). We encourage enthusiastic researchers interested in ecosystem conservation/management or ecology to contact us about this opportunity. Successful candidates will work with PI Nao Takashina in an interdisciplinary department.

Prospective Graduate Students

We also seek highly motivated students who wish to advance research in ecological studies, ecosystem conservation, or natural resource management as a graduate student in our group. Students with a background in ecology, natural resource management, mathematics, or related fields would be the best fit for our lab. Please note that if there is a significant discrepancy between the supervisor's area of expertise and the student's interests, it may prove challenging to provide sufficient supervision. Therefore, we request that you contact us in advance if you wish to pursue this opportunity.

また2024年度より，生態系保全管理研究などに取り組む意欲的な学生を募集しております。生態学（特に保全，数理，群集など），生物資源管理，数理的手法またはこれらに関連する知識を持っていることが望ましいですが，熱意と責任感を持ち上記分野の研究に取り組める方も歓迎します。ただし指導教員の専門分野と学生の興味が著しく乖離している場合には研究指導が困難となる場合があるので，大学院生として当研究室に所属を希望する方は必ず事前に連絡してください。
